The best way to wrap the cigar is with the veins inside and with the veins running parallel to the cigar. (thanks for the great photos, Nate)

I am right handed and I roll from the head to the foot of the cigar. So I am rolling at an angle towards my left. (Say at 10 o'clock).

When you roll, do you have the spiral of the leaf go the same direction with both the binder and the wrapper?

Or do you roll the binder first and then spiral the wrapper in different directions?

Like this \\\\\ then \\\\\ or like this \\\\\ then ///// ?

Don't forget to say why.

You want them all....Like this \\\\\ then \\\\\

Keeping ALL the veins running the same way will give you an even burn. Thats why cigar rollers are ambitextrous, sometimes you have to take a wrapper and roll it left handed in order to keep the veins going the right way. With that said, I've accidently rolled a few the other way and haven't noticed a huge difference, they burn to one side but then again I've had that happen sometimes to correctly rolled cigars. Practice makes perfect and I have along way to go.... Randy B
