Here's an interesting idea for a homemade humidor. Maybe?

I haven't seen a picture of it yet, but will go looking for one...

edit... got one of a tupperdor

I did go look at the hygrometer pic, though... nice looking round one... 2x2 inches smallish, and $15+

Here, I've got a couple like this, from wallyworld

and the were only $7 each
All made in china. probably the same electronic chip in them.
rc

fun stuff!

I've got some cedar fence boards out in the pile... and plenty of ice chests hangin' around... (they probably smell like fish)

I should give it a try this winter... :-)

I use a one gallon snap lock canister from Wally world ( a sugar canister for the kitchen) . I use it for sticks and cigarette tobacco. I take a new clay pot and break the top ring off. Then I smooth the lip, and wash it off with fresh water. Let it stand in water till it can't soak up any more. I put it directly in with the shreaded leaf. It will keep it at the smokeing case. You can place the size of clay pot piece for the size of canister for the need. It will also keep brown sugar from getting hard also. That is where I got the idea that I found, works great. Mad-
