Last year I gave a Native American organization some Burley tobacco plants in pots for them to grow indoors in downtown Baltimore. They harvested the leaves as they browned and did not cut the plant in any way except removing the occasional suckers. I visited recently and was amazed to see these plants are still growing and have grown new suckers and are beginning to leaf out again. (now, a few weeks later some are even producing flower clusters) Has anyone ever had an experience like that with tobacco? I find it very interesting and I love how sturdy they are.

They sure do have some guts to them! strong plants indeed.
In my previous crop i left the stalks with the few top leafs and flower on after a big frost it looked like everything died, once it started warming up it grew suckers like mad and was able to collect seed from the suckers flower.

Wow!
A little more light, and a small shot of N, those plants would probably do some growing!
