Hi all, I have a 4x4x7' tent, a 400w mh/hps ballast/bulb, a 600w bulb/ballast too, and a recirculating deep water culture setup. It's well vented. I bought some tobacco seeds back in the spring that I never used and am debating growing them indoors.
Can anyone give me some pros, cons, advice on growing indoors?

Thanks for any help.

I wouldn't want horn worms and suckflies infesting my living room.

they are in bucket so watering is easy. Don't get many bugs to deal with. just a little air movement and a lot of light. Lots of people grow some indoors me included some times. Just depends on mood I'm in' you should do ok. no worry about frost either  I like the cfl lights 100 watts really some thing like 29 watts and I put them in those metal shields like they use in brooder houses for chickens. about $8 at home depot. after they put on size I use a light for ever 18" high on average. try to cover all sides big plants will have about 4 lights so pretty cheap on electric. and get some light on other plants when growing more than 1 Have fun

If I was gonna go to the expense of an indoor grow with lights and all that, I think I'd have to go for the money crop.

Better get a 2nd opinion on that!

money crop?

Do you mean people sell that other weed?

Well I do know the seeds are harder to buy than any good baccy seeds.

My garage, actually. I have a pretty good inline exhaust fan hooked up, so they'd probably get sucked out.

Ha! Medicinal crop was jarred yesterday, so that's why I was debating some tobacco. I just am worried about size and how long it would take to grow. Is it grown like a "money crop"? IE flowering, ripeness, etc

You can buy almost anything on the Internets. The black market is alive and well :)

Thanks! I have tons of light and dwc is hydroponics, so watering isn't really necessary.

Most If grown inside with lights 12 on 12 off, figure alittle over 3 months from germination just rough may be little more or a little less, but close when they are ready you can tell or get hints then ask. when they flower they are close.

As to size depends on so many different things. type and just how that plant sees its life. Have had some bloom at 2 feet and others went to 8 feet and I chopped them off tired of waiting. so it is up to them Figure some where around a 4'circle and 6' tall and hope for best.
