A suggestion was made long ago to create this forum. If there is enough interest in the subject then the forum will become permanent.

Very cool! This is my first year growing (Rhode Island) and just started some seeds indoors a few days ago. I used a heated mat and a cheap greenhouse (plastic container and lid) as I'm not doing a lot this year, maybe 5 plants total. They just germinated and put them under artificial light but will ultimately transplant outside.

To do a plant all the way to maturity seems like a challenge considering how large each plant is. I'm getting two Hortilux Eye bulbs this year for complete indoor growing, and since I like challenges, this may be a good one! Would definitely be interesting to hear of anyone's story of growing full plants indoors, all the way to harvest.

Good idea for a forum. I also like the new experimental forum. I need to post some info of what I have done so far in both. Need time also. I will see what I can do this weekend.

I have not grown any baccy in a few years...just had a good enough crop a few years ago to slack off...now i gotta start back.
I want to grow indoors...I have made a green house type tent with reflective plastic as walls and ceiling..all wrapped in poly also so that i can control the environment.

I am assuming 80F for temp and fans to circulate the air.
i plan on wiring in grow lights that are adjustable in height so I can keep them 6 inches away from the tops of the plants

what about humidity/moisture levels in the room? any ideas guys?
