I would really like to swap garden seeds and would like to know the cheapest way to mail them domestically, and have them not get crushed in the postal processing machinery.

Anyone got experience with this?

Baccy is EZ cuz they are so small... Squash and sunflower seeds, and many others are larger, and will require the parcel rate, I think, when an envelope is 'bumpy'. Then they want more when it's over an ounce...

Kind of a setback when I get priced out of most things anymore...

Cheque books can go in the mail. Get a wadge of paper in the same arrangement and cut the centre out like you see done with books to hold a secret hipflask

Hi
I got some seeds once that were packed similar to that. they placed the seeds into one of those little 1" x2" ziplock bags get at wallyworld. Took a piece of foil and folded it over zip lock bag. Then took A piece of paste board. the corrugated kind , cut a square out of center and scotch taped bag and foil in center. a lot like the hidden flask . Then took computer printer and printed my name and address in middle of sheet of paper . Folded paper the size of envelope. Put pasteboard in side and used school glue to close it up and put on stamp no return address. whole cost was the little ziplock bag and stamp. I thought it was cheap and neat . not even an envelope . Hope it helps. Lee

I think the foil did 2 jobs one it kept the tape from sticking to the bag so was easy to get out. Other reason for foil was to stop xrays. what ever it worked and I thought it was neat about making their own envelopes. I thought you might like it was easy to see what they did and why.

Yah... it's like some of these people do not even look and see what the punishment might be in some of these countries...

Here in estados unidos. a person with risky standards could do well in the banking business.
