I saved the stalks from last years grow. I was amazed at how strong they are. Very light and they make good drying and stringing sticks. I made three walking stalfs with some that are really nice. I leaned them up by the heater over the winter and they stayed straight. They were hollow, so I filled them with can foam, not that they needed it. It was worth the save. Mad-

I'm not a ninja RC. I also would not recomend smacking any thing also. HA-Ha. They are ok for a walking stick. To hang baccy is perfect.

Well OK !
Potting soil from LANL must help you grow them perfect stalks?

I never had much use for a walking stick... it was bicycles, then motorcycles for me, soon as I could start one.

Now that I'm old, maybe I should get a shelale ! It won't be a wimpy Kalifornia baccy plant either. We got Oak !

HAHA, me too rc I love those two wheelers, but I also like walking sticks. One of my favorite hobbies is to turn a piece of wood into a selfbow and I use river cane as arrows. Very deadly weapon just like my Indian brothers.

I'll put up a couple archery vids for you over in my distracted thread in a day or so... most impressive!
Me? Well, I was never any better than fair with a bow.

Image works best for the likes of me...

Best
