Can't tell you what cigs cost....obviously.... Nor can I tell you the cost of gas,,,,but diesel....Diesel is 3.279 a gallon. I do put gas in my bike, it's high test, but doesn't go over $13 a fill up, so I pay NO attention to it.

hi
looks like cigerettes are winning the price race. But wait till this summer when people forget about the gulf oil spill. (that aint there and never happened ). They both go up at a rate that is close to same. gov and oil will start the raise in oil. even get some help from investors and overseas. I used to buy cigs for the week and fill up at same time spent same for each. years later I did the same . Now we roll our own and don't go anywhere . spend the same again. Lee

Cigs are $6-8 here in Washington. Gas is $3.15. The lowest we saw in the last year was $2.99

20 miles away in Idaho cigs are $2.90 and up. Gas was $2.95 last time I was over. The sales tax is 2 1/2 % lower too. Needless to say, we do a lot of shopping in Idaho.

hi
yes in the early 60's $2.50 for carton of cigs and 25 cents a gallon for gas 10 gallon and good for the week + $5.00 early 70"s $5.00 acarton and gas was 50 cents gallon still only used 10 gallon a week +$10.00
Now we roll our own and buy tubes and some tobacco spend around $100 amonth. gas is $3.09 now and I seem to fill up at around $35 3 times a month=$100:? so went from $5.00 aweek to $200 a month in just 50 years .
