I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here, I can get the photo on the gallery I can copy and paste but all I can see is a little box with a question mark when I preview it or post it. Any ideas? Maybe youse can see it but I can't. I've got an Acer tablet by the way.
Cheers

Chooky came through just fine. So did your LC.
Is your ACER a windows platform, or Android?

...Could be in your bbs settings in the control panel???
...When you make any reply to a post, there is a rectangle below, as you are typing it...Options...
Mine are set at BBCode is ON
[img] is ON
(flash) is OFF
[url] is ON
Smilies are ON

To the right of that small boxed area is another, with 4 choices.
In my screen, None of those four boxes are checked.
I suspect the img and url play a big factor here...

I usually use a freebie utility called Fotosizer to reduce my pics to 900 x 700 jpeg before uploading them to the Photo Gallery.

It's about as big as you can go without throwing a curve ball at the display software, people with different sized displays and resolutions...

Good luck

Yes its android, and my settings are the same as yours, I can see the picture in your post but in mine all I can see is a little blue box with a question mark. So you can see the pictures in my posts? I can see them in the gallery fine. I'll just have to put up with it I suppose. I've got a program called photo editor and made them 800x700 or something similar but same result.
Cheers

Well, Chooky turned into a blue box, in the post above.
and I noticed he had moved in the recent addition line-up, too.

I just grabbed the url... I'll set an img and place the url between them to see if it shows up.

ok, I'll run a preview now...

He's back!

Perhaps you need a jpeg viewer app for android??? nah... I got Jellybean on my tablet, and had Ice Cream Sandwich on the last one... can't recall right now, but I think I could view all jpegs???
Wifi is down right now, so I can't test with my tablet...sry.

Hi, thanks for reply, I went and deleted that picture and downsized him a bit, you might have been looking at the same time as I was mucking around there. I might go and fire up the old laptop and see if that makes a difference. I just don't get that I can see them in the gallery and I can see him in your post but I get the blue box in mine. Oh well I'll perservere. Thanks for the help,
Cheers

I can't help with photo posting at all.
But guys, I don't see anything but a tiny box on all the posts until the one where Rusty posted a large photo of a parrot. Something is not working... and wasn't working when Rusty tried to post the same thing.

Thanks for the replies, I finally got it. I click on the thumbnail and bring up the full size image then long press on that, it comes up with " save image, view image, set as wallpaper, so I hit "view image" and it comes up in another window and I notice the URL is different from the one that comes up in the gallery info so I copied and pasted that and it worked! Whew! What a rigamarole, its been driving me nuts. So I've finally achieved something everyone else does as a matter of course lol! Thanks for the info on resizing the photo's Rusty. By the way that's not a good pic of chooky as he's yawning!
Cheers

The photo process gives everyone trouble! But once you do it a few times you'll get the hang of it. Cool bird.

Thanks Baylor, he is a cool bird. I downloaded another browser for my tablet which makes putting photos up a bit easier as well.
Cheers
