I'm planning to grow on a large piece of land at my moms house I have room for up to 600 plants as I see it but I'm broke and about to be homeless I need to find starting trays and lights especially. I also am trying to figure out how to water them I'm thinking of using a creek a tiny bit away and a little uphill from the plot and digging a holding pond and siphon water working on not using any electric once planted and the well and all available running water too far away anyways. Any tips for these types of situations as well as any free items would be awesome I can possibly get some worm compost tea to trade a little and ill have a bunch of seed to share next year

I am broke and almost homeless myself, it is not a fun situation to be in. I received some seeds from forum members on this site. I started my seeds in a southern facing window, seems to be doing great without artificial lighting. Collecting rain from the roof into buckets is helping with watering. Hope this helps you.

Sounds like you have a workable plan for the water supply, max. But in the Great Pacific Northwest, water is not usually a problem, AFAIR...

You will still need to do your germinating in a protected environment. warm, and not too wet.

High on the list of importance with tobacco plants is, they like their roots to dry out regularly... good drainage. That may be difficult to achieve in the Pacific Northwest. That is to say, it will require attention. Perhaps planting in bermed rows?

Good luck

She loves me what's a couple 2-3-500 extra plants to keep an eye on when you have. 50 yourself
