It's been awhile since I've gone through all the steps so I don't remember all of the details. Basically you need to create an album for your pictures then click the Upload File link and follow the instructions.
Be sure to log-in while you are in the forums before entering the photo gallery as you won't be able to log-in inside of the galleries even though there is a link there for it.

.
Roy,

Didn't anyone type in 'the idiots complete guide for uploading pictures' and post it on the site in a sticky ???

I botched my first try, but LiT helped me out...

I'll try again, and maybe I'll post a clearcut guide if it works out.. if not already posted somewhere.

Best

... and what's the deal with Coppermine ???

AFAIK, it is not possible to u/l directly from your pc to the forum.

I shrink pics to about 600x800 on my pc using a freebie utility called Fotosizer.
Then I u/l them to the photo gallery which is an independent function, (Coppermine).
Coppermine may be opened in a new tab, and once pics are posted in the photo gallery, the link address may be pasted in a HTGT thread.

It's a little bit awkward, yet it cuts down on the headaches for the HTGT site owner.
Using the photo gallery has been a real benefit for me because I can easily keep track of my garden progress each year.

I have never had so much trouble attaching a picture in my life.

You need to upgrade this "Amish Technology"...seriously....so much for my grow log.

It's more trouble than it's worth.
