Hello Tea,

I actually do well enough using a pair of cheap scissors from the dollar store.

A few minutes, every other day, and I can shred all I require, change the blend as I go, etc.

I have a few different mechanical devices, have not repaired the best one, and I'm fairly happy using the scissors.

Best
rc

I was blessed with a regular tobacco shredder, by a member of this forum, and it works great, no need to re-invent the wheel here.

 I just came across this post and WOW that is one wild looking machine you got there Tea! And 15 years of service? Nothing lasts 15 years anymore in this walmartChinaPlastiCrap world we live in. Great job. I would love to build one just to have and look at. I'd probably be too scared to actually use it though....

 How about a mini wood chipper with leaf bag attachment? You could dump a whole garbage bag full of baccy in at once! Set for the whole year in 30 seconds!
