LOL,
Yep another believer in the pasta "Shredder"
i'll tell ya, a little dremel-tooling to roughen up the blades and an off-the-shelf made-in-china pasta maker makes one heck of a inexpensive tobacco shredder.

My wife bought me a brand new pasta maker for xmas because I "confiscated" hers for making tobacco, and the first batch of pasta I tried to run through it was terrible.
I said "These are better for tobacco than pasta" - she was not amused
she returned it to the store she got it from and I still don't have a decent pasta maker, but all my baccy is shredded just fine!

in case you missed it

Hi -

Yeah, I don't buy new stuff much, I usually get it used at the flea market or garage sales. Some day I'm going to find a used paper shredder and test it. Then I'll find a used meat slicer and test it.

All y'all's experiments are going to come in handy when I get some new toys.

Bob

hey bob,
the wife got the pasta maker at Ross' and it was just $30 I believe so if you do find one at the FM or garage sale it should be able to get one really cheap

I still keep my eyes open for a shredder like Taxedenough's, that thing he has could eat baby elephants!

Last weekend discovered a box of baby Bursa leaves that i forgot about and were bone frozen dry and just ground em up barehanded and ended up with a very good shred for the t2 injector. The stems were easy to separate

If the baccy is real dry the injector actually acts has a shredder. Not has fun but so easy a caveman could do it

This new Dell with widows 7 is fast has heck.

...Shredding from the console...

I guess it could be done... with a whole lot of sensors and a fancy interface.
Too much of a project for me!

So Tax... U like the new 7 ???
How fast is the processor on your new box? and memory?

Did yah get a giant monitor, too ? :)

I used my kids 22" flat screen for a week... then he got sideways and took it to his apartment. Fussy kid, sometimes.
It sure was nice using that big screen!

Best
