Welcome aboard HTGT!

I have heard of the Havana 608 but never grown any...
It will be a great product if it matures in that time advertised.

Pls keep us posted on your results.
Good luck!

I grew 608 this year

I don't have much experience to compare it with anything simular, but it seemed to mature fairly quickly.
faster then my virginia anyways, tho they weren't planted at exactly the same time so it's a little hard to tell.

the leaves air dried to a nice light brown for me almost effortlessly and with a little fermenting turn a nice dark brown or almost black.
it seems to smell very sweet for such a heavy tobacco with a nice rich scent that id describe as musky coffee.

id grow it again...

they didn't really get big enough to grow suckers.
I got them in a little late and have a short season, but from what I can tell they grow squat with larger leaves until shooting up a flower stalk;
so I don't imagine suckers would be much of an issue.

Tnx king,
I grew Havana 142 a couple years back and was very happy with it. It's Gone!
I will grow next year, for sure!
...Don't know if I have decent pics of that year... it was not a tall plant, was very compact, the leaf stayed tight, laying outwards only when ready for harvest, and there were few suckers.
Cured easy enough, and was a great stand alone smoke!
Maybe I look for some 600 seed!
Best

So far, i have attempted to get the seeds started in different ways, and i think with some more trying i will eventually find the best way to start up the Havana 608, but still more testing to go!
