I forgot to add a note about these plants... They are sticky... like 5X postit note sticky. Has anyone seen the plants get sticky?

lol Yeah, lots of varieties are like that. Some will turn your fingers black after a half hour of picking and stringing. Oh, and don't rub your eye before you wash your hands either or.... well you'll see. We all make that mistake a time or two. :)

And I agree with RC. A couple of those leaves look a little green yet. Makes them all the harder to cure. Let your Havana get a little yellow on the edges before picking and it will color cure easier. Some types get a mottled alligator like look to the leave when ripe too.

That would be the resin... the quality we are looking for in baccy...

Some strains look real pretty, but just feel like a cotton T-shirt... no resin. And they are real mild smokes... gotta smoke 20 or 30 of em to get a nic fix!

IMO, better to have good resin content, then look for something mild to blend with it, than the other way 'round!
