Many of the leaves on ALL varietes of my tobacco plants are either red or have red tips, although this is my first year growing and curing all on my own I have helped neighbours with harvesting and processing thier leaves, and i have never seen this before. I've asked a few other local growers i've worked with and they say that this is nothing they've seen either. Will it affect my curing? How can i prevent this in the future? I'll try to post pics if i can figure out how.

What kind of tobacco? Burley tips are usually red and they are an often sought out leaf!

Canadian Virginia, Monte Calme Brun, and Havana 608. Monte Calme Brun shows the most redness followed by Havana. As of right now i've had a few of the red leaves hanging for only a few days and they seem to be keeping thier colour but go limp earlier.

Yah, what they said! :-)

I'd like to see more info, and a follow-up on what eventually occurred.

Best
