 Post subject: When to harvest burley tobaccco ?

Hi everyone it has been months since i have had my burley plants , it has now gotten to a stage where they are starting to flower pink flowers ,
is it almost ready to harvest?
when will i know its ready ?

You much judge by the development of the leaf, generally they ripen from the bottom of the plant, upwards.
As the leaf begins to yellow, it is most likely a good time to harvest those leaves, only.
Let others continue to mature and harvest them when they ripen.

It is not so good to harvest early, and little harm will be done if left on the plant a bit longer.

Best to snip off most those seed pods before they flower.... The plant will grow stronger. You're gonna have a Lot of seeds !
