Hello Dan,
No problem growing 'baccy as a house plant so long as you realise that it will always be a houseplant. These plants want to be big. Grow some in the house over the winter for the sake of interest, then sow your main crop in March to plant out after frost - worth your while building a cold frame. Pot size - huge. I had a couple of Havana 142s in 5 gallon pots, couldn't keep up with the watering - 3' leaves transpire water at an amazing rate. If you have the ground to do it plant outside in the ground. If you don't have enough garden space ask around, there are allways people to be found with spare garden space.
Best thing you can do now is prepare your 'baccy patch for next year- dig in a load of well rotted horse. Note well rotted - fresh horse muck will give you poor 'baccy. Also need to sort out where you're going to cure it, nothing as bad as having a load of leaves ready to harvest and nowhere to hang them. I'm in that situation now with my last 30 plants. Not good.
Happy growing
J.T.

Well, this is Tammy.

He's got a bunch of pics of his indoor plants in his gallery.

Indoors, is indoors!
Estados unidos, or the island... all the same, indoors.

Good luck with that,

Here's another pic of Tammy with Bullseye's indoor plants.

So, baccy will do quite well, indoors!
