Here it is.. I use DaVinci brand sugar free syrup that I usually buy from Netrition (because of their cheap shipping rates). I add some to a pan, warm it up, not boiling or anything. I then add enough leaves to soak up the liquid. I also add a tad bit of pure Neotame which is an artificial sweetener... beacause I like sweet stuff!!!. This stuff is so good tasting I end up chewing it more like gum! Very tasty, if you like caramel! I've also added a touch of salt on occasion but have not noticed any improvement in flavor. If anything, the salt takes a few days to meld into the mix so I've been leaving it out. I've never chewed "regular" chew such as Redman etc but I'm sure this is totally different, it's more like a candy type treat but with nicotine.

I should add.. the Davinci syrup I used was Caramel flavored. They sell lots of flavorings. I tried English toffee flavored but did not care for it.

Thanks Randy,

I might give it a try. I like redman, beechnut, and copehagen, so I will try making my own one day.
Cigs will be my first shot, though.

Not sure if Divinci makes sugar-free rum syrup, but the sugared stuff flavors vodka real nice! Might make some decent chew flavoring as well.

I emailed you, Jitterbug Dude.
